Peggy's Recipe for Scones with a Twist!

Ingredients

Serve with jam and cream and enjoy.

Method

  • Rub butter into the flour

  • Add sugar and sultanas

  • Add yoghurt .

  • The mixture will be quite soft.

  • Roll out and cut into rounds about 1 inch thick .

  • Bake on a greased or lined tray for 20 to 25 minutes at 200° C / 400° F / gas 6 .

450g self raising flour

110g margarine or butter

55g caster sugar

85g sultanas

300ml natural yoghurt
