Jesus Is Raised Upon The Cross And Dies

We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you

Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world

[Pause and reflect]

“Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit”; and when he had said this he breathed his last” (Luke 23: 46). How great the Lord’s love is for us that He gave up his life to save us. May we be given the grace to overcome sin in our own lives so that we may join him in heaven.

“Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”

I love you, Jesus, my love above all things,

And I repent with my whole heart of having offended you.

Never permit me to separate myself from you again,

Grant that I may love you always, and then do with me what you will.
